Design Transforms Borders
Presented by Central Saint Martins University, Touching Land and Territorial Empathy for @NYCxDesign, Design Transforms Borders was a week-long exploration of the relationship between migration and design. Located in Sunset Park, Brooklyn this community event featured studios, dinners, and debates centered on our relationships to home, places, and food. Through multi-modal and intersectional activities participants were asked to explore their own relationships with each of the themes in a safe and culturally sensitive environment. All programming was free and open to the public.
